Covid 19 Release:
3/24/2020 - Governor Brown has ordered a moratorium on residential evictions for nonpayment in the State of Oregon. Click here to read the order.
We are still able to file new cases in most counties, however the first appearance dockets are being limited in size and scheduled out longer than usual. Existing cases are moving forward, but the sheriff will not be enforcing any writ of execution (lockout) based on non payment at this time.
3/18/2020 - We are in unprecedented times with this current state of emergency. Our society as a whole and industry has found itself in a fluid situation that seems to be changing by the moment. There are a lot of moving pieces right now and we have been busy trying to get updates from the local courts on what we can and cannot do. Currently, I have read updates for the State of Oregon, Multnomah County and City of Portland. Please click each link to read.
We have found that counties are accepting new cases, but first appearances are being set for April and May. We are committed to moving forward with the cases that have been requested and ask for your patience during this trying time. Be prepared to be flexible as this situation can change rapidly and there could be further court delays to any cases.
